The Modern Promotheus

After our debut with Pinocchio, we felt the need for a new chapter. We chose to continue our editorial journey by celebrating one of the most iconic novels in world literature, one that has left an indelible mark on the imagination of entire generations: Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

Illustrator

Marino Neri, an internationally acclaimed illustrator and graphic novelist, and has collaborated with prestigious outlets including Le Monde and Internazionale. His poetic and visionary style moves between myth and reality, light and shadow, creating images that resonate deeply with the collective imagination.

Printing

The entire volume will be printed in letterpress while color layers will then be hand-silkscreened with natural pigments. We want to reclaim the tactile value of printing, an aspect of fundamental importance to us.

Binding

The book will be bound completely by hand.

Each individual phase requires the knowledge and skills of the most traditional bookbinding, from the stitching to the creation of the multi-colored headband, from the spine to the inlay work, using only materials of the highest quality to ensure the most precise workmanship.
